18th century muff

After making an 18th century muff for myself, my mom suggested I try making a doll-sized one.  So that's what I did today - I already had some smaller silk printed portraits from spoonflower (I got them when I got the bigger ones, to play with using them for pins.) and I still had just enough tiny sequins left. The green ribbon is vintage (which actually ended up being a problem because it broke when tried to use it as a drawstring. So I had to redo it more carefully.

Here's the result.  The first picture shows the tiny muff next to my big one and the second shows it being held by one of my ball-jointed dolls:

Dream of Doll Tender Twing-key

I already had a Twing-key, but I fell in love with this doll right away - she has a newer super-jointed and more mature body.  Here she is wearing brokenhearttart's Marie Antoinette recreation!

Alice in Labyrinth Alice in lots of wigs

I'm selling off a bunch of wigs, so Alice is modeling them. I think she looks great in all of them!

Peakswoods Skye

This is the Haute Doll special young Marie Antoinette Skye doll - I love her to pieces. I love this wig on her so much that she never gets changed!

Elfdoll Lydia as Madame de Pompadour

I bought this outfit from a Korean company, but Dollmore had it for a while. I think it's sold out more. I actually had to alter it a bit to make it more fitted.  I wasn't sure I was happy with it at first, but I'm pretty happy with it now.

Elfdoll Lydia as Marie Antoinette

Here's the Dollheart outfit that was just like the Masquerade gown in Marie Antoinette.  I added the netting over her eyes. :-)

Elfdoll Lydia

It was love at first site with Lydia - but the fullset one was already sold out. Fortunately, basic Lydia is even lovelier! She has a look that nicely lends itself to period looks, and right away she became my Marie Antoinette. Or sometimes Madamde du Pompadour! The Marie Antoinette piano gown is by BrokenHeartTart. She made all the undergarments, the hairpiece, earrings, and even these amazing miniature heeled shoes that fit perfectly!

She's also wearing Masterpiece soft glass eyes, and a mohair wig.

Volks Tae in The Duchess (plus Williams)

I adore this "Fox" costume from The Duchess, made by  Atelier Soda!  My pics don't do it justice.

Bauhausfrau made this adorable riding habit. The shirt and vest are Dollheart.

Volks Sweet Dreams Kira in 18th century

I bought this doll from Sdink - she's one of my favorites.  Here she is in Arcadia Rococo.

Volks SD Rinon as The Duchess

This outfit and wig are by Atelier Soda.  I love it!  The necklace and ribbon in the hair were my additions.

Volks SD-16 Amelia in 18th Century

I bought this gown on DoA - it's lovely! The hat is from the Haute Doll Marie Antoinette collection.

Volks Rinon in a chemise gown

I love Volks Rinon - her default faceup is really pretty.  Her she is dressed up in a jpop mohair wig that I restyled (this one had dreadlocks originally), a TopsyTurvy hat, and a chemise gown made by a friend (http://www.brokenhearttart.com/).
