Soah as the Queen of Hearts

A few pics of Soah before I changed her.  She's in Dollheart. So many stray hairs! That wig is hard to style!

Turn your blog into a book!

At the recommendation of a costume friend, I gave this service, which turns your blog into a book, a try. I wasn't disappointed!

http://blog2print.sharedbook.com/blogworld/printmyblog/index.html

You can get soft or hard cover, choose a cover (and images for the front and back), choose a layout format, choose what blog entry range add a URL, and it generates a table of contents, and your entries! You can choose chronological or reverse chronological order.  It makes the images all the same size, which is ok - they don't take up a ton of room that way, but they're still visible.

Here are a few shots of my entries from this blog.

I think next time I'd try the more expensive option of not shrinking the layout and see how much it adds to the price.

I signed up for their referral program, so if anyone is interested in doing this, send me your email address and I'll send you an invite!  padawansguide at gmail dot com

Planetdoll Riz with Val Zeitler faceup

I bought this little MSD on ebay. I've always been a fan of Val Zeitler and her aesthetic.  And this doll came with a faceup by Val and a limited Connie Hall/Marbled Halls outfit and a Michelle Hardy wig. The combination is adorable!

I added some strappy Dollheart shoes.

Four Sisters head

I don't have a body for her, but I was unable to resist this lovely Four Sisters head with a faceup by Andreja/Nicolle's Dreams.  (more of her work here on Flickr.) She was a find on DoA.  I just have to add some eyelashes and get a body!

60s Inspired Egyptian Outfit

One of my favorite doll couturiers, http://brokenhearttart.com/, made me two Egyptian outfits so I could dress one of my girls up to match my Egyptian boys.  She made me a lovely more historically inspired outfit, but we also decided (based on some fun fabric she found) to do a 60s inspired one, sort of a la Cleopatra/Elizabeth Taylor.

She made me this amazing collar, headpiece and fan to go with the outfit.  (There's another belt too, that I've saving for the other outfit.  I'll post pics of that outfit when I change her. But for now here is the 60s outfit! I love it!
